San Diego
LA is our usual stomping grounds for business and this trip was no exception. This time though we decided to take a few days for R&R to do something a little different and visit another part of California. San Diego was at the top of the list as it was driving distance away from our business event in Los Angeles. I was pleasantly surprised at how different the vibe is between the two cities. There was so much we planned/did and I wanted to share it, because maybe it will assist in preparation for your next trip.San Diego Hotels
Destination #1 The historic William Penn Hotel
Its condo style with all the amenities of home. Its located in Gaslamp district in the middle of night life, so bring some ear plugs y'all. I'm not really into the club scene, but it was pretty cool to be central among all the hustle and bustle.Destination #2 Urban Leaf
Because when its legal, why not?lolDestination #3 Old World Trolley
San Diego is a huge city so you'll want to have a transportation method to see all of it. Why not ride on the trolley and learn about the history along the way?San Diego Resorts
Destination #4 Coronado Island
There is so much beauty to be seen here on this island. If beach is what you are after then this is a great place to stay. The town is so cute and the Historic Del Coronado Hotel is a must see.Destination #5 Balboa Park
You will want to see this place! There are museums, botanical gardens, and all sorts of historic amusements. Id recommend renting a scooter, there is a good amount of walking even for a athletic guy like me. Plus, the lime bike scooters are so much Fxxking fun!! Just saying.Destination #6 Old Town
Super rich in history with plenty of shops and some of the best Mexican food I have ever had at Miguels.Destination #7 Ocean Beach
This beach town had me all sorts of excited. We of course got scooters again from lime bike and rode up and down the beach. We stopped at the near by breweries and restaurants for food and ice cream of course. We walked the famous pier as well.Destination #8 Sunset Cliffs
OMG the beauty is absolutely breath taking! I put this last but it is certainly not least by any means. Be sure to take the trails that are off the normal path (ignore the signs that say you may plummet to your death lol) We all came out more alive then ever.I hope that this guide helps you in finding things to do in San Diego when planning your next trip. We had a blast and I miss it already. Please feel free to comment below and tell us things we may have missed. XOXO
